I was having terrible pain in my right foot and was assigned to Mr Jowett’s clinic at Clifton park hospital for surgery to replace my ankle joint with a titanium joint.mr Jowett put my mind at ease before my operation,explained what was going to happen, I went to theatre,had my operation and was back on the ward after 3 hours,I stayed overnight and went home lunchtime the next day,The care I was given by Mr Jowett was exceptional and all the follow up appointments at the othopedic dept was with staff who are dedicated to my recovery,I can never thank Mr Jowett and his team enough for making me pain free and able to enjoy walking again.So if you are thinking about having surgery Clifton park hospital,Mr Jowett and his team will care for your every needs professionally,once again Thank You

Charlie Jowett is one of the nicest Doctors l have ever met. He is an extremely good Surgeon caring and listens to what you want. My operation was quick and the results amazing. I would recommend him to anyone.

I am a long distance walker and aged 80. And I have been having problems with my second toe crossing over my big toe, which has not been comfortable when out walking. I saw Mr Jowett and he recommended that I have an amputation rather than straightening the toe, and it was the best decision. I had a local anesthetic and the operation performed by Mr Jowett and his team was very professional and I had no problems. In fact on the sixth day after my operation I walked three miles on the country. So I was very pleased with the operation that was carried out. There is no scarring at all. I am very happy with the operation and would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Jowett Peter Mollan

A great surgeon who put my foot back together after a nasty accident. Excellent communication of the issues, explained everything very clear and has got me to a position that we thought unlikely. Mr Jowett even called me a day post op to make sure I’d understood our conversation post surgery- recognising that I’d probably not taken in everything when still sedated. If you are lucky enough to be assigned or be able to choose Mr Jowett, you are in safe hands.
